Democracy, as we are part of the democratic country we are well aware what democracy means. I believe that democracy means Govt for the people, By the pople and of the people. Lets have a look at how a democratic country operate say, election will be conducted and people will cast vote to their favourite candidate and the candidate who gains more number of vote wins the election and will have the power.
I was going through the great indian epic mahabharatha and the war that took place at the end of dwapara yuga and the people involved in it and suddenly a question araised in my mind, if we think that democracy is selecting the candidate who is favoured by most of the people like gaining more number of votes is said to be democratic, In the war of mahabaratha we find that Duryodhana had 11 akshauhini of troops supporting him and Yudisthira has 7 akshauhini of troops supporting him, if we apply the rule of democracy over there then it is obvious that Duryodhana wins democratically but as we read mahabaratha we feel that the virtue is with yudistira and almost all of us want yudistira to win and duryodhana to loose.
Does this mean that people who opted for yudistira to win are against democracy?? or is there any flaw in the way of the democracy we follow. If we put forward the question in the general way, Is whatever we say as democracy and whatever methods we follow as democracy is correct ??? what if more people prefer bad things over good then as per our democratic rule bad things win and more bad things will be happening to people
Is there a way now to change the decision knowing that we have made wrong in this deocratic country?? I guess not. if we have selected a candidate we have to live with him until his tenure of 5 years complete and as people started getting used to it they are forgetting the thoughts they initially had about the candidate and mesmarised by the good work he does at the time of elctions nearing and we end up in selecting based on who does good things at the time of elections. Dont you realise that there is something wrong going on over here. Even if somone points out and says this we being pround of our decision and do not want to be pointed out by others end up in defending our decision and rejecting the advice given by the person who wishes to do good to all.
There could be many such cases and hidden truths which we might have missed out from protecting but still we fight and stand for what we project to outside world though internally we realise it is not the right one. How funny we are.
In the epic mahabaratha before the start of the war Yudistira offered the chance to kuru army that whoever feels that truth and morality is on the side of pandavas can come and join his army and none save yuyutsu have changed sides. Though others have their own reason for fighting on behalf of kuru army when we looked at overall the persons benefitted by king yudistira is less than the persons benefitted by king duryodhana.
We say that Indians are more traditional and will have their way followed from their ancesters and they are cultured and they protect their culture for times and yes they are doing it but with this comparision i would say they are protecting it without knowing what exactly have to be protected and if someone points out the truth we fight for the wrong and false course being afraid of what it leads to.
NOTE: This is just my blind opinion and not intended to hurt or pointout anyone in present and past worlds. Appreciate your understanding

Anveshana - The Quest
Everyone, I have been thinking a lot before writing this blog. There are lot of queries in this topic i am about to talk and lot of controversies too. After a long moment of thinking here i am with my views on this quite controversial topic. Before proceeding any further i would like to get yourself introduced to the topic, As the topic says "Anveshana" which according to me is the search of your life or the quest of your life. The word anveshana means the same( Search of life) in telugu as i know.
Now before I move to search of my life there is something that i would like to say about this topic the search of life, I believe that every human being searches for something in their life some by knowing what they are searching for and some without knowing and some do not even know that they are searching but everybody in our life do search for something. I havent seen many people searching and i havent analysed or surveyed anyone but i do feel that any person whatever he may do and who ever he may be, he would be searching for something in his life.
The search can lead you anywhere and it can be in any area as well, for some it might be in music and for some it might be in cooking and for some it might be in cheating others and it might also be some weird activities for some but they do search for it and by gods grace some achieves what they search for and some dont but the searching doesnt stop. My belief here is that the soution to your search is the sole purpose of your birth. The answer to this search might get you eternal bliss
Anveshana creats the passion in you to achieve the one thing that you do care about, The one thing that you will be willing to sacrifice all the things you own and the one thing with which they would be satisfied completely. if one achieves their anveshana then it is meant that their purpose in this earth has been fulfilled and it is rare that such a person has their re-birth sooner.
From the moment i started believing anveshana, I have been searching my life and never ever got an satisfiable answer which means that something which i so desperately needed is not know to me yet but my quest didnt stop i may not know what i am searching for but i do know that i am searching for something that would get me to a satisfaction and will make me the complete one of myselt. To know about one's anveshana he must be true to himself. As I believe any person in this world cannot cheat himself. A person can do any brutal act and pretend in front of law that he didnt perform one but, he internally knows that he has did it and many people fake about this felling and fail to accept the truth but, deep down their heart they know whether their act is agreeable or toleratable and whenever you feel that you are satisfied with the acts that you actually intented and succed in following the same then you might be of sure that you have achieved your anveshana.
The feel of complete satisfaction which is very rare to me to achieve yet all the people journey towards the same, their quest continues until they attain their anveshana

Life Must Go On
I have really give a lot of thinking before starting this blog. Many would not have experienced with what i am expressing in this blog but whatever happens life must go on.
I used to think often about my missing life and as i recently developed the habit of expressing myself in this internet and blogging, the thought occured to me when i am writing about many things in the blog why not about my missing life.
A year back I was not like how i am today, the reason being i was staying with my friends. I do not know what others feel but i have this strong feeling that when you are with your with your friends then you will even feel the hell as heaven. I used to enjoy my time when i am with my friends and it so happened that the job i was doing was more enjoying to me so my life after college was full of happiness in both the work place and home.
we all know changes are constant in this world and i am no exception to it. It so happened that my joyous life after college came to an end, It all started when one of my friend went to foreign for pursuing his higher studies, then two of my friends got married and left our batch and two others went to foreign country as part of their work.
One used to say that a person may not know time when he is around his friends and the same was true in my case, i was with my friends for 4 years and within the fifth year everything changed and at the end of 5th year i was alone devoid of my college friends though we meet occationally i was desperately missing those beautiful days which i spent with my friends and my whole world around me changing in front of my eyes and i didnt like it. But couldnt do anything other than sitting simply and watching as always what ever happens life must move on.
I couldnt stay there any longer so i switched the job and moved back to my native. Hoping some change of environment might prove useful to my situation. But I didnt realise that by moving back i quitted the job which i liked and now here i am back at my native after 10 years completely like stranger to this place with new job and new environment and it needs more time for me to get used to all these new environments.
It has always been said that a friend in need is a friend in deed but my instinct says that getting one friend life long will make your life more happier and no matter what i miss the happiest moments of my life.
As always whatever happens life must move on

Sambavaami Yuge Yuge
I am a Toddler in the area of Bhagavad Gita. I wish to write this blog as i wanted to express my opinion on some of the areas preached by Mahabaratha. My opinion might be new to someone and repetitive to others but it is my choice to post my opinion in this blog about the 4 yugas and 4 gunas of people. It has been quite frequent among people in India that if any Bad happens to them they will either blame others or fate at the same time if some thing worse happen to others they console others stating that it is kali yuga anything can happen. I have heard these kind of chit chats among the environment which i have grown but never have i paid attention to what kali yuga is ? nor to what other yugas exists but recently these topics were of my interest.
For people who do not know, it was said that one yuga cycle constitutes of 4 different yugas and they are
1. Krita Yuga / Sathya Yuga
2. Treta Yuga
3. Dwapara Yuga
4. Kali Yuga
Now having known about the four yugas we might want to dig a bit to know the significance of each yuga and its consequences.
Kritha Yuga
It was believed that in Krita yuga there were no effigy for god and people were worshiping deities in the form of fire. In this yuga people were able to do anything at their will and the bull of dharma which symbolises morality was said to stand on its 4 legs which constitute truth, penance, charity and yagna. The color of supreme soul in this yuga was believed to be of white.
Treta Yuga
It was believed in this yuga that people started to worshiping by creating effigy for gods and also the bull of dharma was said to stand on its 3 legs. Though it is not clear from my references which of morality is reduced. I believe that the quality of morality which reduced was penance. The color of the supreme soul in this yuga is believed to be red.
Dwapara Yuga
It was believed that people of this yuga started to classify the dharma into 4 different parts viz Rig, Yajur, Sama, Atharva. The bull of dharma was believed to stand on its 2 legs. Based on my understanding the quality of morality reduced at this yuga is truth. The color of the supreme soul in this yuga is believed to be yellow
Kali Yuga
We are believed to be part of this kali yuga and it was said that people will lose most of their virtue and will be wicked and was believed to be the birth place of chaos. In this yuga the bull of morality is said to stand in its 1 leg and my understanding was that in this yuga the morality loses the quality of charity. The color of supreme soul in this yuga is black.
People were supposed to be classified as 4 based on their gunas and births. They are
1. Brahmanas - Ascetics
2. Kshatriyas - Warriors
3. Vaishyas - Buisness man
4. Sudras - Servants
Okie with this basic idea about the 4 yugas and 4 gunas of people I will project my thoughts about these classification as believed in Hindu mythology was created by God.
As I see, In Krita yuga people lived prosperity and attained the supreme soul which was believed their highest virtue, True it is and I also believe that at this phase of yuga there were no classification among people based on gunas as people were able to do anything at their will there might not be a need for sudras and since people were not after money and were devoid of wishes there need not be any vaishyas and since people were with full qualities of morality there might not have been necessary for people to rule so there might not be kshatriyas as well. Leaving Brahmanas who I believe to be the only category of people existed in krita yuga and devoted themselves to austerities and achieved the eternal Bliss.
As time moves on people started becoming greedy and selfish. They wanted to posses most of the earths valuable things and thus they were classified depending on their wishes and achieved what they want in the righteous way. Since people wanted to own themselves there arise dispute among them and to control them and lead them not away from righteous path we needed kshatriyas and for owning themselves they were in need of money and so people started buisness and hence came vaishyas and since people were deviated from the path of morality they no longer were able to do anything at their will and hence came sudras. Now the question might arise based on what qualities a person might be born as a kshatriyas, brahmanas, vaishyas and sudras. Its definitely a million dollar question for which my quest still continues. but based on what i understood. It all depends on the length of your attachment to the earthly elements.
Now what made them different in Dwapara yuga ? I believe that though people wish to own themselves in Treta yuga they were trying to achieve in the right way and in dwapara yuga people started practising cunning ways to achieve what they wanted and their main motivation was said to achieve what they want no matter whether they follow the path of virtue.
In the kali yuga people started going from worse to worst and they started to wish for anything and everything. atleast inearlier yugas people followed wicked ways to achieve their acceptable wishes but in the kali yuga people converted everything into acceptable and every way into morality and thus performing all the sin.
If we closely observe the tranistion of people, I would like to point out in all the yugas it is people who changed not the virtue not the morality not the path of dharma. I believe even in this kali yuga there is possibility that people can follow the qualities of morality but many of us excuse ourself stating that it cannot be achieved in this time period but as said in ancient eras the yugas were cyclic and after the kali yuga it is going to be Krita yuga again. Also as per Hindu mythology there will be kalki incarnation of Lord vishnu to bring back everything in order and my belief is that as i stated earlier if people started believing that they can follow the way of morality and try to follow the same we can assume that kalki is incarinated.

I would like to quote this famous text from bagavad gita before concluding.
"Yada Yadahi Dharmasya Glanirbhavati bharata
Apurthanamadarasya Thadatmanam Srujamyaham
Parithranaya Sadhunam Vinasayacha Dushkrutham
Dharma Samsthapanardaya Sambavami Yuge Yuge"
As said above these things which is likely to take place in all the yuga cycles

In the name of trust.....
Trust, Belief these are the great words around which the world revolve. Once wise men used to say "Trusting everyone is dangerous and trusting no one is too dangerous", The more I worried about is the pain caused by the betrayal of trust. I have broken many promises in my life and many promises made to me were broken as well, but i didn't realise the wrath it caused until today.
Yes, My trust on a stranger has been broken and the wrath it caused still hurts me. Trusting a stranger?? who would do it? isn't it weird, but many of us today are forced to trust a stranger at some point of time. I went to a mobile phone service shop last saturday in chennai. Actually I went to chennai to hangout with my friends over a weekend but thought of getting my mobile serviced. I took my mobile to this so called "mr.service" mobile servicing shop in chennai and enquired about its condition and stated him clearly that i will be staying in chennai this weekend and want this mobile phone to be serviced before i leave. He said not to worry it will be done in evening but unfortunately he couldn't do it and asked time till sunday and then it prolonged till monday. I wasn't willing to extend my time and asked them to return the phone, so that i will get it serviced elsewhere, they were not willing to lose a customer initially and was trying to convince me but i wasn't ready to give them time so after few discussions they agreed to return the phone.
I received a call in the sunday afternoon from the service center stating that they were facing few issues and wouldn't be able to return the phone till monday(not even in the original condition which i took it to them). I was little bit obsessed and after few arguments I was left without any option but to give them the time they asked. I enquired about ways of getting my mobile back as i am travelling to bangalore the same day and mode of money transfer. They told that they have shipped the mobile to the customers earlier through courier and will do the same to me and i need to transfer the amount to their account. I was not willing to take the risk of getting the costly mobile shipped, but without any option i accepted it under a condition, that i will pay the amount after receiving the shipment. That guy discussed with his manager and then agreed for the same. Today I called them up in the afternoon to check the status of the mobile they said it will get done in the evening and the mobile will be shipped.
I didn't receive any update till evening and i called them back for the status they said the mobile phone was serviced and working properly but they will be able to ship only after receiving the amount. I want able to bear the wrath it caused to me and i was literally shouting at them over phone for almost 20 minutes. The hardest part was that guy who promised me all these was speaking as if there isn't any fault in his side and he was saying that it was his higher managements decision and he couldn't help it. I was trapped again as my phone is with him and since our arguments and shouting doesn't seem to get to an promising conclusion, I shouted at him saying don't try to play your customer tricks on me and hung up the phone.
I was not able to convince myself as i couldn't accept the fact that i am being betrayed. The wrath it caused is huge that increased my anger to the extent of manhandling them if they were in front of me at that moment.I do not know what to do and i just wanted to shout loudly to cease the wrath it caused. Maybe that would have made my heart lighter, but in the current society people will tag you as mentally retarded if you do so. I was trying to suppress my anger and scolded him a lot inside and after few mins i was back to normal but this made me realise the wrath of betrayal and trust. I was just wondering if any of my act would have caused similar effect in someone else. I couldn't able to recall any such incidence known to me, maybe without my knowledge there could be many such one but I realised not to do such things in my future. There could be times where we fail to meet our promises but we shouldn't be in a position to provoke others atleast we should feel sorry for our act and have to try and convince the other in any means. I may not be right here for all but my instincts says that if I do that i am able to follow it, I will be happy.
It would be easy to break the trust but it will be harder to gain it back. It would be easy to break a heart but difficult to win them back. it could be for small things but you are breaking the trust and hurting others feeling. No wonder the wrath in Kannagi has consumed the whole city of madurai.

Ruined Sacreds

Last weekend I was on a trip to Rameswaram one of the sacred places in indian history. It was believed that this is the place where lord Rama built a bridge of approximately 18kms to srilanka(also popularly know as Ram sethu or Adams bridge).
We can still find more reference of this place in the great Indian epic Ramayana. It was said that this temple is built with 22 wells and was believed that the taste of the water is different in each of the wells.
We reached Rameswaram early morning around 3:00 am and we have booked a hall for all the people(my family members and relations) and because this is a kind of initiation for the celebrated Sashtiaapdapoorthi of my parents the number accompanied us was more which forced us to take a hall instead of individual rooms.
We started to the shore at around 7:00 am in the morning to take the holy bath in the sea as it was believed by ancestors. I was informed about the practise followed there in the holy bath, people used to leave their old clothes in the sea and get dressed with the new clothes after their bath. I really have no idea why do we follow such a custom but when I reached the sea was quite taken aback at the view of the shore. It was all full of clothes and there is a dedicated person employed(I believe) who collects the clothes and dumps it in a heap besides the shore periodically.
I do not know neither the origin of this practise nor the root cause behind it, but all I saw is the blind belief of the people who come there in the hope that they will be purified from all their sins and follow blindly what it has been said. We too followed the same rituals then proceeded towards the temple.

Usually people take bath in all the 22 wells inside the temple before going to prahara(place where the main god of the temple resides). I noticed that some of the wells were drained completely and were without water. Just then I started realising the fact that these are considered as sacred places yet we failed to preserve all those we didnt take any precautionary measure either, some other wells were almost drained and i doubt that it might sustain for an year.
There were many other places around Rameswaram which were of the same condition. One such place was called villundi theertam(it is believed that Lord Rama created this well with his arrow to quench the thirst of the soilders during their construction of Ram sethu) but localites say that these places were drained of water and were not cosidered as the sacred anymore. I was just wondering what makes a place sacred and when does it loses its sacradity? and what do we need to do to make a place sacred?
My historic knowledge says that the places which we consider now as sacred were the places dwelt by the famous persons of great ascetics, its pain to accept that we failed to carry forward the sacreds which was presented to us by our ancestors. we are not even bauthering to protect the one which we already have.
when we were in the temple waiting for the darshan, I heard a local guy saying that the "sinners have increased thats why temples are crowded". I couldnt get those words out of my ears even after reaching home.

What made me Blog ??
I have been blogging quite some times now, not regularly tough but ocationally.
All these times i was always thinking about what i am blogging about and never have this thought occured to my why am i blogging? and what made me to start blogging?.
Thinking about this i recalled memories about my past blogging. This blogsite was not the first which i started my blog, infact i do not even remember the URI of my first blogsite. But I do remember what i blogged about, it was about a local trip of mine with my friends and i had few memories which i could share it in the block as the trip had few incidents which was funny to remember.
Again that tells me what i blogged about but not why i started blogging.
To be true i may have to accept that i started blogging not out of interest, not out of curiosity but in seek of attention. I am a software engineer and its no wonder that people around me know about blogging and some were already blogging at the time i started my carrer. I used to be around those blogging people(B-people I used to say) and many people in that company came to him and he was recognised by many no matter where ever he goes and what ever he does. This created interest for me to blog. I wanted to be in that position and I wanted to create attention and awareness about my presence to all those around me, so I decided to create a blog for myself.
Now created the blog, what to write? Like all the novice users i too started to read others blog before deciding about what to write and how to write. I have visited many blog sites and read few blogs and i couldnt able to decide what all these says and what topic would suite me to blog. Days went on and the counts of the blogs i visited increased, later i realised the fact that its blogging and you can share any of your thoughts no matter what you write there will be someone who will read what ever we write. This boosted my confidence to start writing a blog. About at the same time we(My Friends and I) went for a trip to some falls and I decided to write a blog about it.
Neither did I do any analysis nor did I care about what i am writing in the blog. My mind is filled with thoughts that "I am writing a blog". I didnt strain much in completing my first blog to say it truely I finished the blog in hours and then posted it. Now the thought of drawing attention was completely out of my mind as I was appreciating myself for successful completion of the blog. It didnt really occur to me that I need to advertise it so that other will read it.
The enthusiasm of completing the blog suppressed slowly after couple of days. Now being back to normal I was expecting other to come to me and say something about my blog, be it good or bad(ofcourse I was praying that I should recieve some good coments). But nothing happened and then a sudden curiosity occured to me to check the number of hits that my blog took. Being novice i do not know all these tricks, I started surfing the net again.
No wonder I got the solution immediately after googling for some time. I started exploring the option. The blogger site itself provides these kind of option, all we need to do is follow the steps. Placing the counter in my blogsite I waited for a week then opened my blog to check the counter and as you all anticipate it was still counting the same may be got increased by one as i visited the blog again. Only then I realized no matter whatever we write and how good we write we need to get it advertised to attract people.
Afraid of posting my blog in any public forum. I decide to send a mail to my relatives and friends(note i didnt want to open it to my colleagues as well as i an afraid of critics)and then i started recieving feedback. some said it was nice(though they know how horrible my presentation was) and some said it was not bad for the first time writer and some laughed at me writing a blog and some even threatened me saying that you are sharing information in the net and bla! bla! bla!.
That was my starting point to blog, and I am happy to say that my presentation skills has been improved by blogging but still I am working on improving it more and most of all blogging gives me the satisfaction that i am able to tell something to someone that lessens the burden in my heart.
Go Blogging Go !!
